I currently go to Fort Lauderdale High , which has become somewhat of a second home ( no surprise considering the time I spend there). I'm class president and a member of several other student led organizations as well as the girls soccer team . Its not often that one can say something like what I'm about to say but I feel that in my case it is true, I thoroughly enjoy everything I do, which makes having very little down time bearable.
When I do have free time however I enjoy going to the beach (such a Floridian ) , working out at the gym , or just relaxing with friends .
Everything I've mentioned above makes it hard for some people to understand why I'd want to leave . You see the reason I started this blog is not to tell you about my daily life as it is now but rather to document my life as I set out on a journey to Germany as a foreign exchange student . I have been selected as one of 250 American students who will be traveling to Germany on a scholarship called CBYX (more info on the scholarship in a future post.) I decided to apply and go through this experience because to me foreign exchange is more meaningful than just another year of high school , exchange is not for everyone but i feel that it is for me . With that i leave you for now ...
Best Regards ,
